--------------------------Interrupting this PSA!------------------------------

FIND SOMETHING BETTER TO DO WITH YOUR TIME

Dear Anonymous (unfortunately you read this blog so you know who you are) but by definition:

a·non·y·mous
 [ ə nónnəməss ]
  1. unnamed: whose name is not known or not given
  2. with name withheld: with the performer's, maker's, or creator's identity withheld
  3. indistinctive: lacking individuality or distinctiveness
The third describes you perfectly. While I'm ok with taking personal attacks as I am an adult, what I don't take lightly is the fact that you would attack my child and then cowardly name yourself anonymous which makes you look even more pitiful. Please, clicking the link to this blog is just as easy as not clicking it.  You know who you are and you will be deleted.  Find something better to do instead of motivating me to keep doing what I'm doing.

#haters will always try to find a way to try and set you back but what do you do??????.....you keep on moving forward.

I've already wasted too much time discussing you......enough said.

*back to my regularly scheduled program........., lol!

------*** I am working on something new and beautiful that I hope will come together nicely.  I have my ideas together so hopefully it will turn out nice. OAN: So glad that it's time again for football and the fall. Almost time to bring out those Holiday decorations which is my favorite time of the year. I'm ready to wear boots and scarves again.  This picture I came from vee* over on pinterest. I absolutely love it.  Have a blessed Monday!

So I've really decided to get focused and learn more about photography...I've been reading Understanding Exposure and finally have a better understanding of aperature, shutter speed and ISO. It's been a great read so far. I'm also thinking about investing in some other online courses as well.

1. Snapshot : I totally love the inspiration I get as a daily read over on Under the Sycamore (link to the left ----->). I am considering take her class.
2. Snapshots of a Good Life : Love Karen Russell's blog (link to the left ---->) and her class is on my list as well.

Just trying to soak up all I can and then hopefully I could work locally on the weekends under someone for extra experience. I'm excited.

| A few projects |

Friday, July 20, 2012

I've had a few of these projects already done. Some were just a few that I had left from being on CP's design team. I used Rahel Menig's stamp set for this travel booklet and it was quick and fun project using a vellum envelope. I wanted to give my best friend a travel incentive so that we can take a trip for her upcoming birthday, I think it worked!

I finally used some of my Amy Tan sketchbook products. I think I only have the 6x6 pad but I'm a terrible hoarder. I just can't seem to cut up papers but now that I have the freedom to get back to just scrapping without deadlines, I can jump back into my piled up Jenni Bowlin kits and other products I've picked up. I'm still trying to decide on a way to get rid of products and clean my space for new ones. Any suggestions would be great.
Have a great weekend and be safe. Definitely praying for those in Colorado.

I finally ordered this new lens last night and I'm really excited about it. I've debated for a while now about getting it but when I read the reviews, I knew I couldn't pass it up . It was also part of the recommendations for one of the online photography workshops that I plan to take and I knew I couldn't pass on it. It's the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Camera Lens.  I can't wait to play and work on taking better photos. I'm hoping to really learn all that I can about photography.

My wish list for camera "gear" is extensive but its an investment that I'm excited about.

On the list is the Canon Speedlight Flash 430EX or the 580EX

I definitely need a wide angle lens with the Canon EF 28mm f/1.8 USM Wide Angle Lens

My next purchase maybe the Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM

I'm also wish listing for the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM

On my far list of dreams, once I master my little camera and feel that I want to move forward professionally is the Canon EOS 5D Mark II

Definitely looking forward to playing and learning.
